High-Pressure Leak-Repair Sticks for Metal

To stop leaks in metal tanks and equipment without draining the contents, heat the area with a heat gun or torch to melt the stick and form a permanent seal. The resulting patch can withstand pressure up to 600 psi. These sticks meet NSF/ANSI 61 safety standards for use with drinking water systems.

Stop leaks in metal tanks and equipment without draining the contents. First, knead the desired amount of the two-part putty until it's a uniform color, then press it into the breach in your tank. It cures in one hour, after which you can sand, drill, tap, and paint it. The size listed is the combined total of the two parts.
