Linear Scales with Digital Readout
This digital readout (DRO) system displays precise positioning on one axis. For use with machines that perform dry machining and cutting applications, such as table saws, band saws, planers, and drill presses. These scales have zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, which retains the measuring position when the scale is off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point.

Linear Scales
Increase the accuracy of your manual machine when you fit it with a linear scale. These scales have an LCD that displays exact positioning on one axis. They have zero-position memory, also known as absolute (ABS) positioning, which retains the measuring position when the scale is off. A zero-set button lets you start measuring at any point. SPC data output allows for connection to a computer or data processor.
053906B model comes with mounting brackets for installation on Bridgeport-type milling machines. It requires a 10-pin data cable and Mitutoyo 10-Pin to USB adapter to connect to your PC.
USB data cable (sold separately) connects the scale directly to your PC.
10-pin data cables (sold separately) connect the scale to a Mitutoyo miniprocessor or multiplexer.
Mitutoyo 10-Pin to USB Adapter (sold separately) adapts Mitutoyo 10-pin SPC cables for connection to a USB port on your PC.
Wireless data transmitter and receiver (sold separately) allow you to transmit measurement data from a scale to your PC without being tethered by a cable.
Display freeze adapter (sold separately) keeps the measurement displayed on the LCD even if the encoder is repositioned.

Linear Motion Position-Measuring Transmitters
Measure the position of an object moving in a straight line. Also known as string pots, these transmitters have an extendable wire cable that measures the relative distance between two points. They convert measurements to an electrical signal for use in controlling system automation.
