An extra-long stem extends into deep tanks and hard-to-reach areas. These thermometers are often used to monitor internal temperatures in compost piles and waste containers.
Thermometers with handle have a removable handle that threads onto the 1/2 NPT male thermometer connection.

The long stem reaches the bottom of deep flasks, test tubes, and beakers. These thermometers come with a calibration certificate traceable to NIST that states they've passed a test for accuracy.
Thermometers with an overall length of 9 1/4” are adjustable – they have a head that rotates 180° for viewing at multiple angles.
