These swabs dissipate static electricity and are often used for cleaning electronic components. They are tear resistant.
Polyurethane foam swabs are abrasive, so they’re good for cleaning. You can also use them to apply adhesives and solvents.
Polyurethane foam over cotton swabs have an inner cotton core for padding and extra absorbency. In addition to cleaning, they’re good for applying adhesives and solvents.
Microfiber swabs are softer than polyurethane foam swabs, so they’re less likely to leave scratches when working with optical equipment such as lenses. They are chemical resistant.
Styles C and D have a tip that is small and pointed for precision cleaning.
