Ring-style socket retainer allows quick socket changes—pull the socket off the retainer and push on another one.
Pin- and ring-and-hole style socket retainers (also called positive locking) provide a more secure hold than ring-style retainers. Pin-style retainer has a pin that fits into a matching hole in the socket.

Cordless Impact Drivers
