    Metal Strapping

Bundle your heaviest shipments on pallets or in crates—this metal strapping handles more force than plastic strapping. As your shipment is moved, this strapping won't stretch or break, keeping your items tightly bundled. A wax or oil coating makes tensioning smoother and prevents the strapping from getting caught around your material's corners. The edges on this strapping are smooth for safe handling.
Note: To match strapping with compatible accessories, choose items for use with the same strapping group number. Strapping tensioners, seals, kits, and dispensers are sold separately.

    Solid Strapping

Solid strapping is stronger than punched strapping.
Painted Low-Carbon Steel—Low-carbon steel will work for most heavy loads that will be stored indoors.
Painted High-Carbon Steel—High-carbon steel strapping is heat treated, making it our strongest and least likely to snap from sudden impact or jolts.
Zinc-Plated High-Carbon Steel—Zinc plating requires more friction to wear away than a painted finish, so it protects against rusting longer.
302 Stainless Steel—302 stainless steel strapping is the most corrosion resistant, so it's best for shipments that will be left outdoors for extended periods.

    Punched Strapping

Punched strapping has holes that make it more flexible than solid strapping, so it conforms to irregularly shaped items better.

    Light Duty Metal Strapping

Image of Product. Front orientation. Strapping. Light Duty Metal Strapping.
Use this strapping for securing pipe coverings as well as for packaging. Metal strapping is strong and will not stretch when wrapped around objects. The coil is wound like a roll of tape. To install, cut the strapping to your desired length with wire cutters, feed it through a buckle, and tighten.
Note: To match with compatible strapping accessories, choose items for use with the same material and strapping group number.
    Mini Coil—Solid
Aluminum—Aluminum is lightweight and corrosion resistant. Tension it by hand or with a tensioner.
304 Stainless Steel—304 stainless steel is more corrosion resistant than aluminum but is not as corrosion resistant as 316 stainless steel.
316 Stainless Steel—316 stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance. Tighten with a tensioner.
