High-Temperature Tape Sleeving

A mica and silicone rubber blend allows this sleeving to withstand intermittent heat up to 2100° F. It also creates a fire barrier around its contents. A good option for emergency patches, it can be quickly applied to hose or cable like tape. When wrapping, sleeving should overlap itself by half its width.

Electrical-Insulating Tape Sleeving

Wrap your wire and cable to prevent electricity and heat from dissipating, even in high-voltage areas. Often used near generators and transformers, an acrylic resin in this sleeving insulates and protects your components. The sleeving meets IEC 60371 for its material’s electrical insulation properties. You can wrap it like tape around wire and cable while they’re installed, so it’s great for emergency patches. Wrap more layers for more protection. Made of mica and glass between two layers of polyester film, this sleeving has high tensile strength and good resistance to scrapes.
