Install these tamper-resistant screws in corrosive environments with a common slotted driver. Once installed, the drive’s sloped walls cause drivers to slip, making these screws difficult to remove without one-way screw removers. They're often found on public facilities, such as restroom partitions and other long-term installations, where tamper resistance is important and removal for maintenance is unlikely.

Length is measured from under the head.

18-8 Stainless Steel—The choice for wet and outdoor environments, these screws won't rust. However, they don't hold up to the harsh chemicals that 316 stainless steel can.

Tamper-Resistant One-Way Stainless Steel Rounded Head Screws for Sheet Metal

Simple to install but hard to remove, these screws tighten with a common slotted driver. Once installed, the drive is difficult to turn with anything other than a one-way screw remover. Screws have a pointed tip that starts a hole in sheets up to 0.025" thick, but for thicker material you’ll need to drill first. These screws resist corrosion and have a rounded head for a finished look.

Tamper-Resistant One-Way Binding Barrels and Screws

Install these binding barrels and screws with a standard slotted screwdriver, but they require a special tool to remove. One-way removal tools are sold separately. Made from 18-8 stainless steel, these binding barrels and screws are chemical resistant and may be mildly magnetic. Barrel length and screw length are measured from under the head.

Black-Oxide 18-8 Stainless Steel—Black oxide binding barrels and screws have a matte-black finish that matches dark surfaces and reduces glare.
