Heat-Protection Gloves

Designed for intermittent handling of hot pipes, engine parts, and castings, these gloves protect your hands from moderate heat and some abrasion. Holding heavy objects may decrease temperature rating.
Cotton terry gloves absorb moisture and have an outer layer that dissipates heat.
Acrylic with nitrile grip gloves are textured to help grasp glass, slippery plastics, and oily machine parts.
Neoprene gloves withstand detergents and other cleaning agents.
Nomex aramid gloves are breathable and cool down quickly after removal from a hot surface.
Kevlar/Nomex/cotton blend gloves have an outer layer that protects against heat and a soft interior lining for comfort.
Use gloves with knit cuffs for a secure fit. Gloves with open cuffs are more convenient to put on and take off than other gloves.

Heat-Reflective Aluminized Gloves

Made of aluminized fabric, these gloves reflect radiant heat and protect against sparks. They protect your hands from intermittent exposure to extreme heat during jobs such as metal forging and glass manufacturing. All of the gloves are aluminized on the back of the cuff, hand, fingers, and thumb.
Rayon gloves are the economical choice for good radiant heat and moderate spark protection and protection against molten metal splashes.
Kevlar/Nomex aramid blend gloves combine heat-resistant fibers with the excellent abrasion resistance of Kevlar. They provide protection against molten metal splashes.
PBI/Kevlar aramid blend gloves are lighter weight than other aluminized gloves we carry. They offer good heat resistance without the bulk of other Kevlar blend gloves. They're also reinforced with Kevlar fibers for added strength.
Carbon/Kevlar aramid blend gloves are heavyweight gloves that last longer than Kevlar/Nomex aramid blend gloves in comparable service. They provide protection against molten metal splashes.

Leather Heat-Protection Gloves

These flexible leather gloves protect your hands from intermittent direct contact with objects or surfaces heated up to 500° F. The more layers of self-extinguishing fabric between the leather and the lining, the longer a glove can withstand exposure to heat. Holding heavy objects may decrease temperature rating.

Firefighter-Style Leather Heat-Protection Gloves

Used in firefighting and similar severe duty applications, these fire-retardant gloves meet OSHA, CAL-OSHA, and NFPA requirements. Flexible and durable, they protect your hands in high-temperature applications. Holding heavy objects may decrease temperature rating.
These gloves contain perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as part of their moisture barrier. PFAS are a class of fluorinated organic chemicals containing at least one fully fluorinated carbon.
Cowhide gloves remain soft after repeated soakings.
Cowhide and pigskin gloves have cowhide on the back of the glove and pigskin on the palm. Pigskin is more abrasion resistant than cowhide.

Flame- and Heat-Protection Gloves

Protect your hands from intermittent exposure to flames and radiant heat up to 2000° F. Made from the same material used in race car drivers' fire suits, these gloves won't ignite, burn, or melt. They are lightweight, breathable, and moisture absorbing.
Acid- and Heat-Protection Gloves

The lining withstands intermittent heat, while the outer layer of material acts as a barrier to chemicals and solvents. All of these gloves are textured on the fingers and palm for added grip.
Neoprene gloves with a cotton or fleece lining handle higher temperatures than nitrile/neoprene gloves, but they’re also thicker. They’re FDA compliant for use with food.

Static-Dissipative Heat-Protection Gloves

Also known as wave solder gloves, wear these to avoid damaging static-sensitive electronic parts. They have a nitrile coating that protects hands while soldering.
Hot Mill Gloves

Often used for casting and ceramics production, these cotton gloves are the traditional choice for jobs involving intermittent moderate heat. A double layer of fabric on the palm, thumb, and index finger increases durability and wear resistance.
