    Push-Button Safety Covers

Lock out the on/off or emergency-stop buttons on machinery to prevent accidental or unauthorized startups, such as during maintenance. These lockout covers secure with padlocks and indicate to workers that a button is off for safety. By disabling push buttons, these safety covers also help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 lockout requirements for maintaining machinery.

Mount these lockouts over a toggle- or rocker-style wall switch so it can’t be flipped during maintenance. They secure with a padlock to help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for locking out controls to prevent injuries. They’ll lock out your switch whether it’s on or off. When not in use, the cover flips up to allow normal operation. Made of plastic, these lockouts are corrosion resistant and nonconductive. That means they’re durable and safe for electrical applications. Use the screws on your switch cover plate to mount them in place.
Clear—Clear lockouts let you check your switch position at a glance.
Red—Red lockouts have a warning label on the front to alert others to the maintenance.

Made of plastic, these hasps limit the risk of shock when you’re locking out electrical equipment. Plus, they resist corrosion better than metal hasps. They have a holder for a disposable lockout tag (sold separately) to alert others to repairs. The holder secures the tag flush with the hasp, so it doesn’t get damaged or ripped off. Use these hasps to lock out controls to keep machinery off while completing repairs. They have holes for up to three padlocks, so each person can add their own as they start a job. Until the last padlock is removed, these hasps won’t open. They help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for locking out electrical controls to prevent injuries.

    (Padlock Not Included)

Snap these bars into place to block circuit breaker switches from being flipped—even large, high-voltage switches. They attach to mounts on either side of your switch to physically block its movement. Secure them with a padlock. Use these lockouts to either keep equipment from starting up when it’s getting repaired or prevent critical equipment from powering down. After you’ve locked out a switch, you can still use the rest of your breaker box. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.
For a complete lockout, you’ll need a bar and two lock mounts. You can either buy them individually or in a kit. Choose a red bar to lock out the off position; choose a green bar for the on position.

For Single Pole—Single-pole lockouts secure a single switch.
Mounting Cleat—Use mounting cleats for switches with a recess that’s too large for your lockout. To prevent accidental flipping when locked out, attach the cleat to your lockout and it will wedge into your switch’s recess.
Cable Tie Slot—Lockouts with a cable tie slot let you apply tags directly to the lockout instead of attaching them to a padlock. To secure multiple lockouts with one tag, run one cable tie through adjacent lockouts. These lockouts won’t open until the padlock is removed and your cable tie is cut. There are slots for up to three ties for group lockouts.

Style D have a slotted metal knob you can tighten by hand or with a flat-head screwdriver. With durable metal hinge points, they’ll stand up to repeated use.
For Single Pole—Single-pole lockouts secure a single switch.
For Tie Bar Multipole—Tie-bar multipole lockouts are wider than single-pole lockouts to fit onto most tie bars, which control multiple circuits.
Mounting Cleat—Use mounting cleats for switches with a recess that’s too large for your lockout. To prevent accidental flipping when locked out, attach the cleat to your lockout and it will wedge into your switch’s recess.

Style E are easy to install and extra secure. They have two metal jaws that ratchet together to tighten onto your switch—just pump the lever. A quick-release tab instantly releases the jaws. Use the peg inside to secure compatible tags (sold separately). It keeps tags facing one way at all times so they’re easy to see.
For Single Pole—Single-pole lockouts secure a single switch.
For Double Pole and For Triple Pole—Double- and triple-pole lockouts have a larger jaw size than single-pole lockouts to fit onto multiple switches that are next to each other.

Image of Product. Front orientation. Lockouts. Valve Lockout Sets with Padlocks.
Everything you need to safely lock out nearly every valve in your facility—these sets include adjustable ball valve and wheel lockouts along with a universal and cable lockout to tackle unusually shaped valves. Eye-catching red padlocks, hasps, and lockouts alert others to the maintenance and signal they should proceed with caution. Use them on compressed air, hydraulic fluid, fuel, and other potentially dangerous lines. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements to prevent injuries from valves being accidentally opened during maintenance.

    Clamp On

    Pin In

Secure a single breaker switch with multiple padlocks to keep electricity safely off until the entire team is finished with a maintenance task. The key that unlocks these lockouts is at the end of a 2-ft. cable—wind it through the lock mount and secure by adding a padlock for each person working. The key is released only when all padlocks are removed.
Less disruptive than locking access to an entire panel, these lockouts isolate a single circuit. Because they're small and don't hold the padlocks, you'll still have room in your breaker box to flip adjacent switches on and off or close the panel door. These lockouts help your organization comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, which requires electrical circuits to be locked out during maintenance to prevent injuries.
Clamp On—Clamp-on lockouts can be installed on switches with or without through holes, since they clamp onto the surface of the switch.
Pin In—Pin-in lockouts have two pins that snap into a switch’s through holes. Press a button on the end to open the pins and slide them over a switch.

    Style B

Sized to fit the small switches on DIN-rail mount circuit breakers, these lockouts prevent someone from activating a circuit during maintenance. They clamp onto the switch, so they work on more circuit breakers than pin-in and pin-out lockouts, which require a through hole. Secure them with a padlock. Less disruptive than locking access to an entire enclosure, they isolate a single circuit. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.
Style A—Style A don’t stick out as much as Style B, so they’re better for circuit breakers in cramped spaces. Tighten them onto your switch with a flat-head screwdriver.
Style B—Style B have a plastic knob for easy tightening—no tools required.

From a single point, lock out multiple breaker switches—these lockouts wrap around an entire tie bar so it won’t budge. Compared to clamp-on lockouts, they’re more secure because they affix below the switch. They lock with a padlock to keep circuits closed during maintenance. Less disruptive than locking out an entire panel, they lock out one tie bar. You can’t use them on single-pole switches. These lockouts help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147 requirements for the control of electrical circuits to prevent injuries.
Cable Tie Slot—Lockouts with a cable tie slot let you insert a tie so you can apply lockout tags directly to the lockout instead of attaching them to a padlock. This adds an extra layer of security—even after you remove your padlock, these lockouts won’t open until you cut off your cable tie. Run one cable tie through adjacent lockouts to secure them all.

Lock out circuit breaker switches with a through-hole to prevent accidental start-ups. These lockouts have pins that fit in the hole for a more secure hold than clamp-on lockouts. Less disruptive than locking access to an entire panel, they secure with a padlock to isolate a single circuit.
To secure multiple lockouts with one tie, run one through adjacent lockouts.
Snap On—Snap-on lockouts have two halves that snap together over your switch to insert the pins inside. There are two slots to fit different switch sizes. With space to fit two cables ties, two people can add a tag to these lockouts. Or, you can weave a single cable tie through both slots.
Pin In—Pin-in lockouts are faster to install than snap-on lockouts. Press the button on the end to open the pins, then slide the lockout over your switch.
