Protect metal parts from corrosion. Also known as rust-inhibiting film, these coatings can be removed with a simple degreaser or mineral spirits.
Mineral Oil—Mineral oil coatings don’t fully dry, so they leave a tacky film.
Wax—Wax coatings meet MIL-C-16173 for corrosion-resistant compounds that dry to thin, easily removable films.
Jug—Coatings in a jug can be dipped, brushed, or sprayed.
250° F Maximum Temperature—Coating with a maximum temperature of 250° F lubricates as it protects and can be used as a start-up lubricant for stored machinery.
MIL-C-16173 Grade 2—Grade 2 coatings dry to a slightly tacky, self-healing film that lubricates as it protects.
MIL-C-16173 Grade 4—Grade 4 coatings dry to a nontacky finish that’s suitable for environments exposed to high humidity and chemicals.
Cannot Be Sold To—Coatings that cannot be sold to the regions listed are restricted by product labeling requirements or exceed local regulatory limits on VOCs (volatile organic compounds).

    Low-Odor Abrasion-Resistant Clean-Away Protective Coatings for Metal

These low-odor coatings form a waxy film similar to lube oil, so parts can remain coated for assembly. They can be dipped, brushed, or sprayed onto surfaces and then removed with an alkaline cleaner.

Corrosion-Resistant Reusable Peel-Away Protective Coatings for Metal

Protect tools, dies, and other parts during shipping and storage with these durable, removable coatings. After peeling, they leave a greasy film for continued corrosion protection. To apply, heat coating and dip the object. Once removed, coating can be melted again for repeat use.
