Often used in laboratory testing, these discs are designed to capture tiny particles from fluids.
Pleated discs have a large surface area, which retains more particles than flat discs.
Cellulose discs are good for general purpose filtering, where exceptional strength or chemical resistance is not needed.
Fiberglass discs remain strong even when wet. Use them to filter large amounts of solids, or in applications with a high flow rate. They are autoclavable, meaning they can be sterilized with steam.
PTFE discs hold up to acids and solvents, and can be used with a wider range of chemicals than fiberglass and cellulose.

Cut or fold this paper to the size and shape you need for liquid filtration applications. It’s often used to make pleated filter cartridges. Paper is 100% synthetic and has no binders or adhesives.
Also known as filter elements, place these cartridges inside the filter bowl.
Cartridges with paper media are more economical than filters with fiberglass media, but they need to be replaced more frequently.

Also known as spin-on canisters, thread these cartridges directly onto the filter head. UN/UNF (SAE) thread connections have straight threads and are also known as O-ring Boss fittings.
Cartridges with paper media are more economical than filters with fiberglass media, but they need to be replaced more frequently.

Use these handheld filters to add new fluid into a machine or when you need to temporarily supplement filtration. A pop-up indicator prompts you to change the filter cartridge. Use an optional water-removal cartridge to remove water from hydraulic fluid.

Replace filters less often. When one filter becomes clogged, the other provides filtration until you can shut down the system and change the cartridges. Also known as spin-on filters, cartridges thread directly onto the filter head. A pressure relief valve protects against excess pressure that can build up when a cartridge is clogged. When the difference in pressure before and after the filter exceeds the opening pressure, the relief valve opens.
Filters with paper-media cartridges are more economical than filters with fiberglass media, but they need to be replaced more frequently.
