The high-density construction translates into a durable film that’s more chemical and water resistant than LDPE film. This woven film is also tear and puncture resistant, so it’s often used for tarps and machine covers.
These sheets, bars, and strips resist expanding when exposed to heat and moisture, so they can be easily machined to close tolerances. They also have a naturally slippery, wear-resistant surface. Use them to make precision gears, bushings, and bearings. Delrin® acetal resin, also known as acetal homopolymer, is stronger and stiffer than acetal copolymer.
White sheets, bars, and strips are FDA compliant for contact with food.
Adhesive-back strips are made of Delrin® that is FDA compliant and meets UL 94 HB; however, their adhesive does not meet these specifications.

In addition to meeting UL standards for flame retardance, this film is an excellent electrical insulator, so it’s widely used in semiconductor applications.

PTFE has a naturally slippery surface that allows objects to easily slide across it. It resists most solvents and stands up to extreme temperatures. It’s also an excellent electrical insulator.
Film with a coarse texture masks scratches, scuffs, and fingerprints.
Film with a smooth texture is skived, so the edges may curl.
In addition to offering excellent chemical resistance, this PEEK film is strong and wear resistant.
Use this film in 3D printing operations as a build surface. It’s also widely used in semiconductor applications because it has excellent electrical-insulating properties.

Protect instrument panels and other surfaces against impact with this polycarbonate film. Polycarbonate is comparable to Lexan, Hyzod, Tuffak, and Makrolon.
Also known as vulcanized fiber, these hard fiber sheets can be readily machined and punched into custom parts. They're constructed from lightweight cotton fabric that's been chemically treated to make them hard and dense. Use hard fiber to make gears and bushings.

Widely known as fishpaper and vulcanized fiber, these thin sheets offer better electrical insulation than standard hard fiber sheets. They are constructed from lightweight cotton fabric that's been chemically treated to make it hard and dense.
This shim stock is color-coded by thickness for easy identification. Cut it into custom shapes to fit your application. Shim stock is corrosion resistant. Sheets come flat packed.
Plastic shim stock works well in light duty applications. It's easier to cut than aluminum stock.

Cut it into custom shapes to fit your application. Sheets come flat packed.
For accurate leveling, choose materials such as steel or stainless steel, which are hard enough to resist scratching and deforming. Softer shims, like copper or aluminum, can be used as wear plates between components that rub together, preventing damage to equipment. Metal shims include a material certificate with traceable lot number and test report.
PTFE plastic shim stock is slippery, so it can be used to reduce friction between parts. It also has excellent chemical resistance.

With larger openings than porous fiberglass fabric, these sheets allow for more air circulation in drying applications. The PTFE coating makes them nonstick and chemical resistant.
Often used to create curtains and screens, this fabric has an aluminum foil backing that deflects radiant heat.
Protect insulation from light impact and moisture with this durable PVC jacketing. When selecting size, use the OD of the insulation you are jacketing. Seal with sealant or tape (not included).
