Ultra-Thin Heat Sheets
Less than 0.015″ thick and highly conformable, these heat sheets warm components in tight spaces within complex designs. Stick them to surfaces with their adhesive back. You need a temperature switch or controller (not included) to regulate their heat output. Made of polyimide, these sheets emit minimal gas and won’t leave an oil residue, which means you can use them in vacuum systems.
Sheets with a watt density of 5 watts per square inch are good for general purpose heating. For rapid warm-up and high-temperature jobs, use sheets with a watt density of 10 watts per square inch. Choose sheets with a watt density of 20 watts per square inch for your highest-temperature applications, such as starting chemical reactions and altering the viscosity of liquids.
Note: Do not cut, crease, or overlap these sheets—this will damage the heating element. Use a roller during installation to remove air pockets and ensure direct surface contact. Once these sheets have been applied, they cannot be removed or reused.

Hazardous Location Insulating Wrap-Around Heaters for Drums and Totes
These ETL-listed heaters keep containers warm in areas where hazardous material is present. Also known as heat blankets, they surround drums and totes to heat them up quickly. They’re also insulated with foam or fiberglass to retain heat. They have a built-in thermostat that cycles on and off to keep contents at a set temperature. There's no need to monitor these heaters—since the temperature can’t be changed, there’s no risk of tampering.

Thermocouple Probes for Solids
Pierce pliable plastics, rubber, and other soft solids to check the internal temperature. Also known as penetration probes, these thermocouple probes have a stainless-steel housing with a narrow tip. They are often plugged into hand-held thermometers and have a handle for a comfortable grip. A coiled cable helps avoid tangles for neat and compact storage, while also allowing you to stretch it out when you need more reach. Pick the thermocouple type that best covers the temperature range you expect your solid to be. You should also make sure the thermocouple type you choose is compatible with the device you plan to connect it to.
These thermocouples are manufactured to conform to ASTM E230 for accuracy. Accuracy is how far off the reported value is from the actual temperature.
Insulated probes are filled with magnesium oxide for extra protection around the internal wires.

Hand-Held Thermocouple Probes for Air
Plug these probes into a hand-held thermometer to check air temperature on the go. They have a handle for a comfortable grip and a coiled cable that stretches when you need extra reach. With an exposed sensor tip, these probes are quick to respond to air temperature changes but can’t be used in liquids. Perforated stainless steel shields the sensor tip, protecting it if it’s hit or bumped as you measure.
