Hex shank bits (also known as insert bits) are used in hand drivers or with a bit adapter in power tools.

Hex shank bits for power tools have a groove in the shank and fit directly into power tools without an adapter. They offer more reach for recessed holes and less wobble compared to a hex shank bit used with an adapter.

An insulated handle and shaft protect against shock from accidental contact with live electrical circuits. These tools are tested to 1,000 volts to meet IEC 60900. Remove and replace the shaft to use a different drive style or size. Sets include multiple shafts, a contoured ultra-grip handle, and a rotating cap. Torque Screwdriver and Bit Sets

These sets include an adjustable torque driver, bits for different drive styles, and a socket adapter. To adjust torque, remove the black vinyl end cap and turn the attached adjustment key. When set torque is reached, the driver slips to disengage and stop turning the fastener, preventing overtightening. Sets come with a calibration certificate that is traceable to NIST and includes the test measurements that confirm accuracy.

Note: Accuracy ratings do not apply to the lower 20% of the torque range.
