T-Handle—Valves with a T-handle have two flat arms that provide more leverage and torque than thumb-screw handles and are more comfortable to grip than wing-nut handles.
Side Handle—Side handles are out of the way of the flow, so your hand and the handle stay dry.
Internal Seal—Valves with an internal seal have shorter stems than those with external seals, so they fit shorter clearances. However, they’re more likely to introduce contaminants to the tank from debris collected on the exposed threads.
Brass Handle—Brass handles won’t corrode.
Brass Body—Valves with a brass body won’t corrode when venting air or draining water—even in wet or humid environments.
