Fit these slotted screws into shallow holes and low-clearance spaces where smooth and accurate movement is required. The head is about one-half to two-thirds the height of standard-profile screw heads, so they're not suited for high-strength fastening. They are stronger than their stainless steel counterparts, but weaker than standard-profile screws. Engineered for tight tolerances, their shoulder diameters are twice as precise as those on standard-fit screws. Hand-tighten with a slotted screwdriver to avoid damaging the drive.
