Etched around the entire diameter, these pins make more contact with the hole than grooved pins. This gives them better resistance to both pulling and twisting that can displace the pin and damage the hole. They're also the best choice for holding plastic and thin parts together.

Low-Carbon SteelThese pins won't deform from stress and vibration. They're stronger than stainless steel but not quite as strong as alloy steel. Pins perform best in dry environments since moisture will cause them to rust.
