15-5 PH stainless steel is tougher than 17-4 PH, which means it's more likely to absorb impact and bend rather than suddenly break. Offering outstanding strength, this stainless steel is often used for gears and shafts. It maintains its corrosion resistance in temperatures up to 1100° F.
