    Threaded Diverting Valves

    These valves divert flow between ports. Turn the handle to direct flow from the center-port inlet to either side-port outlet. Valves cannot shut off flow.
    316 Stainless Steel Body—316 stainless steel valves are more corrosion resistant than brass or bronze valves.
    Full Port—Full-port valves do not restrict flow.
    Standard Port—Standard-port valves slightly restrict flow.
    Flow Coefficient (Cv)—Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.

    Diverting Valves with Yor-Lok Fittings

    For extra gripping power and a strong seal, these valves have Yor-Lok fittings with two sleeves that bite into tubing as you tighten the nut. All are compatible with Swagelok®, Let-Lok, and Parker A-Lok fittings. Valves divert flow between ports. Turn the handle to direct flow from the bottom-port inlet to either side-port outlet. Valves are standard port, so they slightly restrict flow. All have threads and a hex nut below the handle for panel mounting.

    Threaded Solenoid Diverting Valves

    These valves operate on electricity to automatically divert flow between ports. All can direct flow from the center-port inlet to either side-port outlet. Valves cannot shut off flow. They require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation; the upstream pressure must be 10 psi greater than the downstream pressure. The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.

    To divert flow between ports more quickly than motor-driven valves, these operate on compressed air. You must control the air to the actuator using either the included electric pilot valve or a manual on/off valve (not included).     Motor-Driven Diverting Valves

    The motor on these valves can handle diverting applications with high flow rates and pressures. They operate on electricity to automatically divert flow between ports. Valves do not require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. Valves can direct flow from the center-port inlet to either side-port outlet. They cannot shut off flow. All are full port, so they do not restrict flow.
    The actuator is directly mounted to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear. A visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator shows which direction flow is being diverted. Two single pole, double throw (SPDT) auxiliary switches allow you to connect these valves to temperature-monitoring equipment, programmable logic controllers, or conveyor sirens. The internal heater automatically turns on when the valve is actuated to prevent motor damage caused by condensation buildup. A manual override allows you to operate the valve during power outages.

    Easy-Install Threaded Diverting Valves for Chemicals

    For easy installation and removal from pipelines, all ends on these valves have union fittings that disassemble into multiple pieces. Their fluoroelastomer seal and plastic body can withstand aggressive and corrosive solutions for diverting flow between ports in chemical-processing applications. In addition to threaded NPT female connections, these valves come with socket-connect (unthreaded) female fittings. All have a T-handle that resists accidental movement when snagged or bumped.     Sanitary Diverting Valves

    Designed to direct the flow of liquids in food, dairy, and chemical-processing facilities, these valves can be fully disassembled for clean-out-of-place (COP) processes. They connect to your line with quick-clamp sanitary fittings, also known as tri-clamp connections, which are easier to remove and sanitize than threaded connections. You’ll need a gasket and clamp to connect them to another quick-clamp fitting (not included). These valves are 3-A certified to meet sanitary design standards.
    Made of 316 stainless steel, these valves won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners. The O-rings and seals are made from EPDM, which holds up to water, detergents, chemicals, and steam. They’re also FDA compliant for direct contact with food.
    When you open or close these valves, a tapered plug slides in or out to direct the flow. Unlike ball valves, this plug design doesn’t have crevices between the seal and the valve body where contaminants could be trapped. Any surfaces that liquids touch are polished to extreme smoothness, so there’s nowhere for bacteria to hide. Liquids with abrasives, such as a smoothie with seeds, should not be used with this valve—if the surface of the plug is scratched or the seal is damaged, your liquids can be contaminated.
    The T-pattern flow lets you direct liquids from the inlet to either outlet at full capacity, or to both outlets at reduced capacity. You can use any port as an inlet or an outlet—all three are full port and do not restrict flow. The long handle gives you plenty of leverage, so these valves are easy to open and close. The plug has a chrome plating to help it slide easily, and the seat is made from slippery PTFE to reduce friction from the handle, making sure these valves operate smoothly.

    To divert flow between ports in drinking water lines, use these valves that meet NSF/ANSI 61. Any port can be used as an inlet or an outlet. Turn the handle to direct flow from the inlet port to either outlet port at full capacity, direct flow to both outlet ports simultaneously at reduced capacity, or shut off flow completely. Valves have union fittings on all ends that disassemble for fast installation and removal from pipelines. In addition to threaded NPT female connections, they come with socket-connect (unthreaded) female fittings. All have a T-handle that resists accidental movement when snagged or bumped. Valves are full port, so they do not restrict flow.

    Often used in sanitary valve manifolds, these valves can be cleaned in place to eliminate the risk of cross contamination in food, beverage, and dairy lines. They are 3-A certified and electropolished to a 23 Ra finish for smooth internal surfaces that prevent product buildup and inhibit bacteria growth to maintain sanitary standards. All have sanitary quick-clamp fittings for easy disassembly. Valves operate on compressed air to automatically divert flow between ports more quickly than motor-driven valves. You must control the air to the actuator using either an electric pilot valve (not included) or a manual on/off valve (not included). Body is 316 stainless steel for excellent corrosion resistance. The actuator is secured to the valve body with a bracket for easy disassembly, maintenance, and repair.

    Automatically divert flow between ports in flanged pipelines with these valves that operate on compressed air for faster actuation than motor-driven valves. You must control the air to the actuator using either an electric pilot valve (sold separately) or a manual on/off valve (not included). Valves do not require a minimum pressure drop between the inlet and outlet for operation. Valves are standard port, so they slightly restrict flow.
    The actuator is secured to the valve body with a bracket for easy disassembly, maintenance, and repair. A visual flow indicator on the top of the actuator shows which direction flow is being diverted.
    Air-to-Divert/Air-to-Return—Air-to-divert/air-to-return valves require air pressure to divert flow to the right-port outlet and air pressure to return flow to the left-port outlet.
    Air-to-Divert/Spring Return—Air-to-divert/spring-return valves require air pressure to divert flow to the right-port outlet. They automatically return flow to the left-port outlet when the air turns off to ensure the valve only diverts flow to the right port when air is on.

    Often used for emission analysis and gas processing, these valves attach to each other horizontally to create one centralized manifold for servicing multiple process lines. They operate on electricity to automatically divert flow between ports. Valves are sold separately and require 6-32 threaded rods and locknuts (sold separately) to assemble the valves into a manifold. Valves do not require a minimum pressure drop for operation. They can direct flow from the side-port inlet to the side-port outlet or the center-port outlet. Valves cannot shut off flow. The actuator is mounted directly to the valve body to minimize movement and reduce wear.
    303 Stainless Steel Body—303 stainless steel valves are more corrosion resistant than brass valves.
    Flow Coefficient (Cv)—Flow coefficient (Cv) is the amount of water (in gallons per minute) at 60° F that will flow through a fully open valve with a difference of 1 psi between the inlet and the outlet.
