Designed for installation through a tank wall, these strainers have a narrow diameter. You can install them at the top of a tank for connection to a standpipe. Stainless Steel Quick-Clamp T-Strainers

Add these inline T-strainers to your sanitary process line to trap solid particles during clean-in-place (CIP) cycles. They have quick-clamp sanitary tube connections, also known as tri-clamp connections, for use in dairy, food, and other process lines that require frequent cleaning and disassembly. As the high-pressure cleaning fluid flows through your line, the strainer's screen catches particles larger than 1/8" to prevent damage to pumps, valves, and other downstream components. And because the total open area of the screen is larger than the area of the tube itself, the screen will not restrict flow.

Strainers come with a gasket and clamp to secure the screen inside the strainer. Gaskets and clamps for connecting the strainer to your line are sold separately. A handle lets you remove the screen to clean it between runs.

Clear-View Inline Strainers

These strainers are clear so you can monitor debris collecting in the screen. They are PVC, which is lightweight with excellent corrosion resistance. Use them in place of regular fittings to catch particles in your pipeline and protect sensitive equipment. The screen is in the strainer body to save space. Self-Cleaning Metal Basket Strainers

Spend less time on maintenance—these strainers have an inverted basket that allows debris to fall into the drain as it collects. Commonly used in high-flow industrial processes, basket strainers hold more debris than all of our other strainers. They capture particles in your pipe line before they can damage sensitive equipment such as valves, pumps, and nozzles. Strainers are 304 stainless steel for very good corrosion resistance. They have two female gauge ports so you can measure differential pressure, which indicates when the basket needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Iron Basket Strainers

Commonly used in high-flow industrial processes, these basket strainers hold more debris than all of our other strainers. Install them prior to valves, pumps, and nozzles in your pipeline to protect sensitive equipment. Strainers should be used in noncorrosive environments. They have a threaded drain with a plug for easy cleaning.

To Order: For strainers with a choice between basket mesh size and opening size, select a mesh size for a mesh basket or an opening size for a perforated basket.

Cut-to-Size Suction Strainers with Backflow-Prevention Valve

A convenient replacement part to keep on hand, this strainer has NPT male threads for a variety of pipe sizes. Use a hacksaw to remove the pipe sizes that are smaller than you need. Made of PVC, these basket strainers are lightweight with excellent corrosion resistance. Commonly used in high-flow industrial processes, basket strainers hold more debris than all of our other strainers. Install them prior to valves, pumps, and nozzles to catch particles in your pipeline and protect sensitive equipment.

Strainers have two outlets for installation in inline or parallel pipe connections and a threaded drain with a plug for easy cleaning. They come with two sets of union adapters that allow easy access to your line: one with threaded pipe connections and one with socket-connect pipe connections. The socket-connect pipe connections attach to unthreaded pipe with cement for a permanent, leak-tight connection.

Sanitary Magnetic Strainers

Draw metal shavings and other contaminants out of your sanitary liquid line with these strainers. As liquid swirls through the strainer cavity, magnets sealed inside capture any metal bits. Remaining impurities are separated out with gravity and trapped in a collection sump. Empty the strainers by removing the lid and scooping up the collected particles at the bottom of the enclosure. These strainers have quick-clamp connections, so they’re good for frequent deep cleans and line changes. Also known as tri-clamp fittings, they connect with a gasket, a clamp, and another quick-clamp fitting for quick removal and assembly.

These strainers are 316 stainless steel, which won’t corrode from frequent washdowns with harsh cleaners. The continuous weld seams and polished surfaces are free of pits and crevices where bacteria could grow, making them easy to sanitize. Rated for high temperatures, you can keep these strainers on your line during a heated clean-in-place (CIP) process. All strainers and their included gasket are FDA compliant, meaning they are safe for food contact.
