NFPA Tie Rod Air Cylinders

Made to fit the most common mounting footprint, these cylinders have an NFPA (National Fluid Power Association) industry-standard footprint, ensuring easy interchangeability. They have a magnetic piston, so you can use sensors (sold separately) to activate relays and controllers.
Connect mounts to an air cylinder to create linear, pivot, or arc movements. Mounts are compatible with NFPA tie rod air cylinders.

Washdown NFPA Tie Rod Air Cylinders

Made with an NFPA industry standard footprint and a stainless steel body, these cylinders are easily interchanged with the most common mounting footprint and withstand chemicals, corrosive solutions, and washdowns. They have a rod wiper that keeps contaminants out. These cylinders contain a magnetic piston that can activate relays and controllers when you attach one or multiple sensors (not included). Use one sensor for each action you want to trigger. When the piston moves past the sensor, the sensor activates. These cylinders have self-adjusting cushions that automatically compensate for changes in load and speed.

Washdown Round Body Air Cylinders

Able to resist corrosive solutions and chemical environments, these cylinders withstand washdown conditions. They have a round body—the most common style of air cylinder—making them more compact and better suited for tight spaces than cylinders with external tie rods. Since they’re double-acting, they use air to both extend and retract light duty loads at nearly full force in either direction. All are universal mount, so they have threads on both ends. The back end has a pivot bushing, which allows for more mounting options than nose-mount cylinders.
Instead of attaching your round body air cylinder directly to equipment, add a mount to best suit your application.
