Slide these gates open and closed to control airflow to sections of duct. Unlike dampers, which regulate flow, blast gates turn flow on or off. They’re commonly used in dust collecting systems, either to direct suction or collect dust in a specific section of duct.

Aluminum with Galvanized Steel Slide—Our most popular blast gates. The body is aluminum to reduce stress on your duct and the slide is galvanized steel for strength. Both components resist rust in wet environments.

Aluminum with 304 Stainless Steel Slide—These blast gates have a 304 stainless steel slide that holds up to moisture and mild chemicals better than galvanized steel. The aluminum body reduces stress on your duct.

316 Stainless Steel—The most corrosion-resistant blast gates we offer for harsh weather and chemicals. They won’t pit or weaken from exposure to washdowns and cleaners.

ABS—The economical option, these blast gates won't dent or crack from impact.

Self-Cleaning Blast Gates

Clear material from the gate’s track so it closes properly. Slide the blade through the body of the gate to scrape off debris, such as wood pulp. These gates open and close to direct suction or collect material in a specific section of duct.

Add a blast gate to your system without disassembling the run. To install, cut a thin slot in the duct for the slide blade, and then mount the collar to the outside. Gates open and close to control airflow to sections of duct. They’re commonly used in dust collecting systems, either to direct suction or collect dust in a specific section. Also known as half gates.
