    Air-Powered Engravers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Engravers. Air-Powered Engravers.
More powerful than electric engravers, these engravers let you create the same markings in fewer passes and with less effort. Adjust the stroke speed with a continuous dial to control the depth of your marks. Low stroke speed creates shallow lines and is best for soft materials, such as wood and plastic. High stroke speed creates deep lines and is best for hard materials, such as metal. These engravers need lubrication to work properly.

    Deep Marking Air-Powered Engravers

Image of Product. Front orientation. Engravers. Deep Marking Air-Powered Engravers.
Our fastest, deepest-cutting handheld engravers create marks that stay crisp and clear, even with wear and tear over time. With 30,000 strokes per minute, they can also make deep markings on hard materials. However, you can’t adjust their high stroke speed, so they may be too fast for shallow marking and engraving legibly on soft materials. These engravers need lubrication to work properly.
Carbide Tip—Hard enough to mark metal and can also be used on plastic and wood.

    Air-Powered Engraver Kits

Image of Product. Front orientation. Engravers. Air-Powered Engraver Kits.
Use these kits for everything from permanently marking materials to cleaning and finishing surfaces. They come with all you need to get started, including an engraver, four types of tips, and a tip holder. The engraver is more powerful than an electric option, so you can make the same markings in fewer passes and with less effort. A continuous dial lets you adjust the stroke speed to control the depth of your marks. Low stroke speed creates shallow lines and is best for soft materials, such as wood and plastic. High stroke speed creates deep lines and is best for hard materials, such as metal. When swapping in another tip style, you must secure it in the engraver with the included tip holder. These engravers need lubrication to work properly.
Carbide Tip—The standard choice for engraving a variety of materials. Carbide tips are hard enough to mark metal and can also be used on plastic and wood.
Steel Tip—Ideal for engraving soft materials, such as plastic, wood, and leather. Steel tips are less durable than carbide tips.
Angled-Chisel Tip—A great choice for cleaning weld beads.
Flat Tip—Grind these tips into a shape that works for your application.
Flat-Chisel Tip—Best for scaling and deburring.
