    Move one of these vibrators to the source of your flow problem. They are lightweight and have a magnetic mount, so they can be attached to steel and iron containers. Use an adhesive-back metal pad (sold separately) to attach it to nonferrous containers. These vibrators are often used to shake powders, grains, and small parts to maintain a steady flow through your bin. Every 10 pounds of dry material requires one pound of force to move it. If your bin has 200 pounds of dry material, you need a vibrator with at least 20 pounds of force.

    When access to the inside of your tank is difficult, this vibrator can be installed and removed from outside of the bin for easier cleaning than bolt-on aerating vibrators. Also known as a fluidization nozzle, it creates flow in your bin or hopper by combining vibration and aeration to dislodge compacted material. It is often used with dry, powdery materials such as cement, starch, and clay. Use continuous air to aerate your bin. They can be used in a system with a timer and solenoid valve to create a vibrating or pulsing action. To install, insert the bushing through a hole in the bin wall until it's flush with the inside of the wall. Then weld it in place, thread the nozzle into the bushing and connect your air supply. For large containers, mount several aerators in rows set 6" to 18" apart.

    These vibrators come with everything you need to get started. Use them to dislodge extremely thick, sticky materials from the sides of your bin. Vibrators have a sturdy base for secure mounting and even force distribution. Bin wall thickness determines the force required to move the material in the bin. To select a vibrator strong enough for your application, find your bin's wall thickness in the table.
    Kits include a U-channel bracket, a manual air valve, an automatic filter/regulator/lubricator, and two hoses with fittings. Some come with an extra replacement hose.
    Standard Piston—Vibrators with standard pistons make direct contact with your container wall for maximum impact.
    Cushion-Impact Piston—Vibrators with cushion-impact pistons have an air cushion that prevents metal-to-metal contact.
