    Replacement Filters

    Filtering away dust and particles, these hoods create a clean space for demanding work, such as bioprocessing, pharmaceuticals, electronics, and optics. They have a HEPA H14 filter to catch 99.995% of particles down to 0.1 microns, as well as a prefilter to pull out large particles before they reach the HEPA filter. To draw air from outside the hood into the filters, they have a fan; there’s no need to connect them to ductwork. A flow monitor tracks the airflow and alerts you with a visible and audible alarm if the fan fails. They meet Fed. Std. Class 100 and ISO Class 5 clean room requirements.
    As an alternative to filtering the air of an entire room, these hoods leave a large enough opening for comfortable access inside and have internal fluorescent lighting to help you see your work. Their work surface is 304L stainless steel, which resists bacteria and chemicals, and also is easy to clean. Mount them on workbenches and carts that are designed to hold them, or place them on your own bench top.

They have a chemical-resistant Tychem 2000 (formerly known as Tyvek QC) hood that protects against light liquid splashes. Tuck the hood with outer bib and inner bib into your clothing for splash protection. The ratchet suspension hat adjusts with an easy-turn knob.
    If you need a different material or style, select a respirator hood that’s compatible with your respirator. Respirator hoods do not require fit testing, and they leave enough room to fit a ponytail or beard without compromising your respiratory protection. These powerful units separate most waste material in the airflow and deposits it into a dust storage barrel (sold separately). Because less dust passes through the blower, there is less wear on it.     Fine-Filtration Dust Collectors

    The cartridges in these collectors are 98% efficient for particles 1 micron and larger—great for picking up fine dust such as graphite and talc. Cartridges are cleaned automatically each time the dust collector shuts off and are enclosed to minimize contamination from particles that pass through the collector.
    An automatic shaker mechanism cleans the filter media and drops particles into a drawer for easy collection and disposal.
    Cannot Be Sold to California—Dust collectors cannot be sold to California due to energy efficiency requirements.
    Dust Collector Filters—Replacement filter cartridges (sold separately) go on the underside of these dust collectors.
