Air Particle Counters

Check your indoor air quality (IAQ) by measuring the amount of particles present. These counters are often used to monitor dust levels in workshops, check for particles in classrooms, and measure filter efficiency in HVAC systems. The sensor probe detects and identifies particles of six different sizes, helping you confirm that your clean room complies with ISO Class requirements. First, use the zero count filter to establish a baseline before taking a sample. Then, either measure the amount of air particles detected within a set time range or the amount of air particles detected within a certain air volume. Counters store up to 10,000 readings in their internal memory, and you can transfer data to your computer via Ethernet or USB connection—no special software required. Compact, lightweight, and battery powered, these counters are portable and able to operate in tight spaces. They’re CE marked as compliant with European health, safety, and environmental standards.

Economy Gas Leak Detectors

Check for combustible gas leaks in equipment such as pipes, valves, and storage tanks. When these detectors sense combustible gas, they alert you with a warning light and a continuous beeping sound. Unlike our other gas leak detectors, these are compact and can fit in your pocket. However, they only detect combustible gas, not toxic gas.

Static Absorption Detector—Static absorption detectors also indicate the presence of static that could ignite flammable gases or vapors. To ensure strong charges aren’t present, test for static absorption before entering an area to test for gas leaks.

Early-Warning Surface-Mount Hydrogen Detectors

This detector triggers a “caution” alert when a small amount of hydrogen is detected and a second “danger” alert if levels continue to rise.

1% Trigger Point—When hydrogen concentration reaches 1% by volume, a yellow warning light illuminates and the first relay closes to trigger a remote exhaust fan and/or alarm.

	Sensors

Three times more sensitive than standard refrigerant detectors, these infrared detectors can identify leaks as small as 0.03 oz. per year. They have an easy-to-read LCD screen that displays the concentration of gas in parts per million (PPM). When a leak is detected, a digital display lights up and the device emits a sound. Surface-Mount Hydrogen Detectors

An audible alarm and warning light alert you to the presence of hydrogen. This detector has a relay for connection to auxiliary alarm systems. A programmable timer allows you to set whether the relay alarm is triggered immediately, or after 4 or 8 minutes of continuous gas exposure. The reset button suspends the alarm and restarts the cycle for 5 to 8 minutes in case of false alarm.
