The strongest multipurpose aluminum alloy. 6013 is roughly 1.5 times stronger than 6061, the most widely used aluminum. It resists salt water and mild chemicals, plus it’s easy to machine and weld. Initially designed for vehicle bumpers, this alloy is made into high-stress machine parts today.
