Serrated Step |
About half the weight of steel or stainless steel ladders, these aluminum ladders are easy to move around your workspace. They’re also corrosion resistant, so you can wash them down and use them in wet areas. The taller the ladder, the wider the base needs to be to remain compliant with OSHA or Cal/OSHA. Bases are widest at the back. The number of steps listed includes the platform.
All steps and platforms are textured to help keep you from slipping.
Note: All ladders meet OSHA or Cal/OSHA dimensional and construction standards. Check local, state, and federal codes, including OSHA, for safe set up and operating practices.
Serrated Step—Serrated surfaces are more slip resistant than those that are ribbed or grit coated. However, without work boots, standing on them for extended periods may be uncomfortable. They have openings so liquids can drain and debris can fall through.
Spring-Loaded Casters—Spring-loaded casters stay stationary while in use—when you step on, the casters retract; when you step off, the casters roll again.
Step Lock—Ladders with a step lock keep the casters locked until you tap a foot pedal.

Aluminum is lighter than steel and stainless steel, making these ladders easier to roll between work areas. Platform and steps are serrated for maximum slip resistance. Tilt these ladders to roll them on their wheels. When you set the ladders upright again, the wheels lift off the floor to keep ladders stationary while in use.

Tilt these stairs sideways to roll them between work areas. When you stand them upright, the wheels lift off the floor, so these stairs won’t move while they’re in use. The top step sits flush against walls or work platforms to add stability. All have nonskid feet.
Vinyl-coated and ribbed steps are slip-resistant and easy on your feet. Perforated and serrated steps have openings so liquids can drain and debris can fall through.

Built-In Ladder Carts

No need to lug around a ladder and a cart—these carts do the job of both. The built-in ladder is secured by a spring, so it lowers to the ground for safety when you stand on it and raises when you step off. For ease of steering, these carts have two swivel and two rigid casters with nonmarking, rubber tread-on-core wheels to absorb shock on rough floors and in areas with debris. Nonmarking rubber feet on the rails protect floors when the ladder is in use. The top and bottom shelves are lipped to contain spills and prevent items from sliding off.
