Toggle Bolt Anchor Assortments for Drywall

Image of Product. Front orientation. Anchors. Toggle Bolt Anchor Assortments for Drywall.
Keep a variety of toggle bolt anchor sizes and lengths on hand. These classic toggle anchors are best for securing handrails, cabinets, and shelving in drywall. All have a spring-loaded toggle that firmly grips behind your wall. Since the gripping force is spread over the length of the toggle, they create a stronger hold than plug anchors. However, they require a larger hole to push the toggle through, which may need patching if not covered by your component.
To install, insert the bolt through your component and thread on the toggle. Then, fold the toggle wings flush against the bolt and push them through a drilled hole until they pop open on the other side. Next, pull back on the bolt and tighten it for a secure hold. The bolt is reusable, but the toggle will fall behind the wall when the bolt is removed.

Keep a variety of reusable anchor sizes and lengths on hand for installing signs and other objects you’d like to swap out. All of these anchors have a bolt that you can repeatedly remove without affecting the anchor. The sleeve expands behind the wall, creating a mushroom-shape grip for a secure hold. Teeth on the flange bite the drywall surface, so the anchor won’t twist when you remove and reinstall the screw. While the bolt can be removed, the anchor itself cannot.
To install, tap or drill the anchor into a drilled hole so it's flush with your drywall. Then, thread a machine screw through your object and tighten to expand the anchor. For repetitive installations, use the optional installation tool. It inserts the screw and expands the anchor with a single squeeze of the handle, speeding up the setup time.

Also known as Tapcons, these screws are often used to anchor parts to concrete, block, and brick. Screws have a hex head that allows for a secure grip with a wrench. Drive them into a hole with a hammer drill or socket wrench, or use a specialized installation tool (sold separately). Made from corrosion-resistant-coated steel, they resist corrosion in wet environments. Length is measured from under the head.
