    Anchoring Adhesives for Concrete

Permanently set threaded rods, studs, and rebar in dry concrete with these two-part epoxies. They form a weather-resistant chemical bond that seals out moisture and resists vibration and dynamic loads better than mechanical anchors. These have two parts that must be mixed. The size listed is the combined total of the two parts. Warning: Allowable pull-out strength is 25% of ultimate values or less, as required by building authorities.

    High-Strength Anchors for Concrete

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Anchors. High-Strength Anchors for Concrete.
Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Anchors. High-Strength Anchors for Concrete.
Offering the highest pull-out strengths, adhesive grips the anchors' lobes and knurls to keep anchors from shaking loose. These anchors are often used to secure heavy machinery with jarring starts and stops, such as compressors and compactors.
To install, fill a clean, drilled hole half full of epoxy adhesive (sold separately). Thread a screw or threaded rod into the anchor and then slightly twist the anchor into the hole until it's flush with the surface. Then, hammer the head of the screw or rod a few times for a snug fit. All create a permanent female-threaded connection that lets you remove and reinstall a screw or threaded rod.
Zinc-Plated Steel—The most common choice for areas with occasional exposure to moisture.
Highly Corrosion-Resistant 316 Stainless Steel—Superior to 18-8 stainless steel, these anchors won't degrade when exposed to harsh weather, salt water, and most chemicals.

Mesh Anchors for Hollow Block and Brick

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Anchors. Mesh Anchors for Hollow Block and Brick.
Image of Product. Front orientation. Anchors. Mesh Anchors for Hollow Block and Brick.
Create a secure connection that withstands vibration better than any of our other anchors for block and brick. The mesh on these anchors grips adhesive (sold separately), preventing it from running into the cavities of hollow block and brick to secure threaded rods or screws. To achieve the stated strengths, you must use the adhesive listed. A good option for outdoor use, these anchors are made of 18-8 stainless steel to resist rusting while your adhesive seals out moisture.
To install, first fill the mesh anchor with adhesive and press it into a drilled hole. Then, press the tab against your block to hold the anchor in place, and insert a threaded rod or screw. The rod or screw will push the adhesive out of the mesh, forming a plug that keeps the rod or screw in place once the adhesive dries. Once installed, the rod or screw can’t be removed.
