Face Shield	Face Shield with Chin Guard

Face Shield with Chin Guard and Side Guards

Protect your face from low-level arc flashes when a full hood is not necessary.

All hard hats have a ratchet suspension that adjusts with an easy-turn knob.

Flip-Up Lens—The lens on these shields flips up, so you can keep your hard hat on during breaks from electrical work.

Green Lens—Shields with a green lens have a light tint that absorbs visible light and blocks glare. They let through 55% of visible light. While the green tint reduces glare, it also distorts colors, which may limit your ability to distinguish them.

Bronze Lens/Gray Lens—Shields with a bronze or gray lens allow all wavelengths of visible light to pass through without distorting colors. They’re ideal for electrical workers who work with colored wires or electrical tape.

PPE Category 2—These shields meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against electrical arc flashes for personal protective equipment (PPE) category 2.

Chin Guard—Shields with a chin guard protect your face from below.

Side Guards—Shields with side guards extend protection on the sides.

ANSI/ISEA Z87.1—The shields meet ANSI/ISEA Z87.1 basic impact standards when worn with safety glasses or goggles.

For protection from arc flash hazards, these kits include several of the safety items you may need. All items meet NFPA 70E for protection against flames and electrical arc flashes. Choose clothing that meets the arc rated personal protective equipment (PPE) category required by your workplace.

When measuring chest size, measure around the fullest part of your chest. Take all measurements over any clothing you expect to wear under the protective clothing.

Style A

Style A kits come with a hard hat, face shield, hood, and storage bag.

Shield your face and neck from flame and electrical hazards while working in the cold.

Gaiters with Four-Way Stretch—They have four-way stretch for a customizable fit—fold them in half for a double layer of protection and warmth.

Gaiters with Odor-Resistant Finish—An odor-resistant treatment prevents bacteria growth, eliminating odors caused by sweat.

These hoods meet NFPA 70E standards for protection against electrical arc flashes for personal protection equipment (PPE) category 4. Arc rating measures a garment’s ability to insulate the wearer from burns; the higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. Each hood has a hard hat with adjustable headgear and a face shield with an antifog coating.

Fans—Fans (sold separately) mount on your hood and pumps air inside using a fan motor. They operate on four AA batteries (not included).
