Secure peeling edges of adhesive pipe markers. For the most secure hold, layer this tape over the edge of your pipe markers then wrap it around the full diameter of a pipe. Printed arrows on the tape's surface indicate the flow direction of your pipe's contents. Also known as pipe banding tape.

Write-On Adhesive-Back Pipe Markers

Use a permanent marker to label the contents of a pipe. Apply directly onto clean, dry pipes.
Square—Square pipe markers wrap all the way around the pipe, and an adhesive strip along one edge secures the two ends together. Since these markers stick to themselves rather than the pipe, you don’t need to add tape for a secure hold.
Rectangle—Rectangle pipe markers are perforated, so you can turn the arrow to match the direction of your system’s flow. Use Pipe Marker Tape to help these pipe markers stay put on pipes that are wet, greasy, or changing temperature frequently. Wrap the tape around the end of the pipe marker and full diameter of the pipe.

Write directly on these pipe markers to label the contents of pipes in frequently washed down areas. These pipe markers won’t fade from detergents used in high-pressure cleaning processes.
