Mount them to a Jacobs taper arbor on manual mills and drill presses. Add a stop bar to your setup if you can’t brace the stop arm on your machine.

For clean, consistent threads as your tap backs out of a hole, these bars brace your tapping head's stop arm so it can't spin freely. Mount them to your machine’s quill or to a T-slot table. Keep in mind, your setup should be strong enough to handle your tapping head's maximum rated torque.
