Heat- and Cut-Protection Gloves

Protect your hands from intermittent handling of hot objects. All of these gloves meet the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, which designates levels of cut resistance based on the force needed to cut through the material of the glove using a razor blade. Holding heavy objects may decrease temperature rating.
Kevlar aramid gloves absorb moisture.

Heat-Protection Gloves

Designed for intermittent handling of hot pipes, engine parts, and castings, these gloves protect your hands from moderate heat and some abrasion. Holding heavy objects may decrease temperature rating.
Gloves that are fully coated provide the same protection on the front and back of the hand.
Cotton terry gloves absorb moisture and have an outer layer that dissipates heat.
Neoprene-coated gloves withstand washes with detergents and other cleaning agents and maintain their heat resistance.
Nomex aramid gloves are breathable and cool down quickly after removal from a hot surface.
Kevlar/Nomex/cotton blend gloves have an outer layer that protects against heat and a soft interior lining for comfort.
Use gloves with knit cuffs for a secure fit. Gloves with open cuffs are more convenient to put on and take off than other gloves.

Leather Heat-Protection Gloves

These flexible leather gloves protect your hands from intermittent direct contact with objects or surfaces heated up to 500° F. The more layers of self-extinguishing fabric between the leather and the lining, the longer a glove can withstand exposure to heat. Holding heavy objects may decrease temperature rating.

Heat-Protection Mitts

Protect your hands from temperatures up to 750° F. Good for jobs that don’t require high dexterity, these mitts are easier to slip on or off than gloves. If you’re switching between tasks, you can also put them on over gloves. They meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for heat resistance—they’re rated 5, which is the highest possible level of heat protection. These mitts have a layer of Kevlar between the thumb and pointer finger to increase wear resistance and extend their life. A water-resistant coating helps keep your hands dry.

Flame- and Heat-Protection Gloves

Protect your hands from intermittent exposure to flames and radiant heat. Made with the same material used in fire suits for race car drivers, these gloves won't ignite, burn, or melt.
Leather gloves are more durable and abrasion resistant than gloves made only of CarbonX. The backing and inside of the palm are CarbonX, and the surface of the palm is leather. They meet EN 388 standards, providing protection against abrasion, tearing, punctures, and cuts. They also meet EN 407 standards for resistance to heat and flames.
Elastic cuffs extend over the wrist and lower arm for added protection.
Gloves that cannot be sold to Canada are restricted by import regulations.

Heat-Protection Clean Room Gloves

Made of thick aramid fabric, these gloves protect hands when handling hot, dry objects such as heated ceramics and glass flasks. Cleaned and bagged in environments with low levels of particulates, these gloves won't contaminate your work area.
Extreme-Temperature Clean Room Mitts

Handle everything from frozen samples to freshly soldered circuit boards without contaminating your clean room. These mitts protect your hands between -75° and 390° F. They don’t shed fibers, so your clean room stays clean. Compared to gloves, they’re easier to slip on and off—and they can even be worn over gloves—but aren’t a good choice when you need high dexterity. These mitts meet EN 374 standards for protection against chemicals. They’ll also shield your hands from solder and fluxes in welding areas.

Heat-, Cut-, and Arc-Flash-Protection Gloves

Designed with the hazards of utility maintenance and oil and gas rigs in mind, these gloves can handle your tough conditions. They protect your hands from extremely hot equipment, sharp objects, and arc flashes. Check the PPE category and minimum arc rating provided for your workplace. The higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance.
These gloves also meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for various forms of protection, such as resistance to cuts, abrasions, punctures, and heat. A higher rating means better protection. All have an ANSI cut rating, which reflects the amount of force required to cut through them with a razor blade. A5 gloves protect against cutting blades, knives, and sharp wire. Gloves that meet NFPA 70E standards are rated for protection against arc flash hazards.
Due to import regulations, these gloves cannot be sold to Canada.

Heavy Duty Arc-Flash-Protection Gloves

For jobs where arc-flash hazards meet tough hands-on work—these gloves offer our toughest protection. They shield your hands from heat and flames during arc events and protect against sharp tools, so you don’t need to change gloves to switch between tasks. They're often used for heavy machine operation and maintenance.
All have an arc rating, which measures their ability to protect against burns; the higher the arc rating, the greater the flame resistance. Check the PPE category and minimum arc rating provided for your workplace. These gloves meet ANSI/ISEA 105 standards for resistance to cuts, abrasions, punctures, and heat. They also meet ANSI/ISEA 138 standards for impact resistance.
Due to import regulations, they cannot be sold to Canada.
Gloves that meet EN 388 are rated to European standards for abrasions, cuts, tears, and punctures.
