Pressure Drop @ Water Penetration Rating—Pressure drop is the amount of pressure lost as air passes through the louver into your system. The lower the pressure drop, the higher the airflow.

Weather-Resistant Fixed-Blade Wall-Mount Louvers

Designed with blades that drain water down the jambs, these louvers keep water from running down the front of the blades, even in harsh weather. All louvers have a seal of air performance and water penetration from Air Movement and Control Association (AMCA), so they’ve passed rigorous testing to ensure minimal airflow resistance, while preventing light rainfall from entering your duct system.

Wind-Driven Rain Environments—Wind-driven rain resistant louvers are AMCA Class A, which means they've achieved the highest rating when tested with strong winds and heavy rain.

Hurricane Environments—Hurricane louvers meet AMCA 540 and 550, so they have passed tests for impact, rain, and wind common in a hurricane.

Water Penetration Rating—Water penetration rating is the air velocity at which water will start to pass through the louver. The higher the number, the better protected the louver is from rain.

Roof-Mount Louvers

These louvers are gravity operated. The blades open when your roof-mounted exhaust fan goes on and close when it's off, preventing backdrafts. The felt seal on the face of the blades ensures quiet closing and better protection from the weather.
