    Wheel these charger/starters to batteries that need maintenance. They provide higher starting currents than Handheld Charger/Starters for Large-Cell Batteries. All have reverse-polarity protection to prevent sparks and short circuits if the clamps touch or if they're not connected properly to the battery.

    Water-Resistant Large-Cell Battery Chargers

    Style D

    Charge batteries even in wet environments—a sealed housing keeps water out. They have reverse-polarity protection to prevent sparks and short circuits if the ring terminals touch or if they're not connected properly to the battery. After the battery is fully charged, they continuously provide a low-level charge to maintain the battery without overcharging.
