To quickly grip objects from either the outside or inside, all the pullers in these sets have reversible jaws that stay aligned. They’re often used to pull bearings and pulleys. To grip objects on the outside, attach the jaws with tips facing in. To grip objects from inside, attach the jaws with tips facing out.
The pullers in these sets can either be used with two or three jaws. Use two jaws for tight spots where three jaws won’t fit. When space allows, pullers with three jaws are more stable and more evenly distribute pulling force compared to pullers with two jaws.
Narrow Jaw—Narrow pullers have both narrow jaws and narrow jaw tips to grip objects in tight spaces.
Bar Control—Pullers with a bar keep jaws straight at 90° as you slide them in and out. They won't kick out like the jaws do in caged pullers.
Combination 2/3 Jaw—Pullers with combination 2/3 jaws have mounting holes in both a 2-jaw and 3-jaw configuration, so you can attach the jaws either way to suit your application.
Weight Capacity—Weight capacity is dependent on the material and thread size of the forcing screw. It should be used as a guide. If you can grip and reach an object, your puller will normally have enough power to pull it. When in doubt, choose the next larger puller size.

High-Force External-Grip Gear and Bearing Puller Sets

Move the immovable—these puller sets include a hand pump and hydraulic cylinder, so you can create a large amount of pulling force. However, these pullers produce more direct, constant thrust than pullers with a forcing screw. They have mounting holes in both a 2- and 3-jaw configuration for attaching the jaws either way. The jaws have no control mechanism, so they swing free.
45 ton Capacity—Pullers with a 45 ton capacity can be used to grip bearings, gears, and wheels from the outer edge to pull them off a shaft.

External-Jaw Hub and Fan Blade Grip Puller Sets

Remove press-fit hubs and fan blades in a variety of sizes. Set includes a hub adapter and long jaws so you can grip larger components.
For hub-mounted components such as blower wheels, secure the puller with the included set screws. For fan blades, attach the puller with the removable jaws, hooking a jaw around each fan blade to secure.
