The oil in these bearings is suitable for incidental contact with food. Startup friction produces a thin layer of oil on the bearing’s surface. All are FDA Compliant, so they're safe for use in food applications.

UHMW bearings resist chemicals better than 841 bronze bearings, and they retain oil better in wet environments. They also withstand caustic and washdown environments.

Note: Dynamic load capacity is the maximum load a bearing can withstand at a given shaft speed. If your application’s load and speed requirements are below the values listed, the bearing will work.
