1.256" ID Bearings | McMaster-Carr

With thick, tapered rollers, these thrust bearings are the strongest we offer. The rollers spin inside a raceway instead of a cage, so there’s room for more rollers to support higher loads than three-piece designs. You’ll often find them on crane hooks and kingpins that connect semi-trailers to semi-tractors. However, they rotate at a fraction of the speed of other roller thrust bearings.

Since they come as one piece, you don’t need to assemble cages and washers to install. An outer band holds the rollers inside the raceway, keeping lubricant in and dirt out.

Steel—Strong and wear resistant. However, these bearings are best for dry environments since moisture will cause them to rust.

Open—With no rubber seal to block airflow, these bearings dissipate heat quickly, extending the life of the lubricant and reducing friction over time.

Made of naturally slippery plastic so you’ll never have to add lubricant. They’re ideal for clean environments where you need to prevent oil drips or graphite flakes. Compared to metal bearings, they are lighter and will never rust.

High-Load Ultra-Chemical-Resistant Polyester Fabric-Reinforced PTFE—Woven polyester resin reinforces these PTFE bearings to support loads and speeds comparable to metal bearings. Similar to other PTFE options, they are unaffected by the harsh fluids that other plastics can't handle, including all strong acids and bases.
