    Easy-Access Mounted Cylindrical-Roller Bearings

Image of Product. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Mounted Bearings. Easy-Access Mounted Cylindrical-Roller Bearings.
Thick, long rollers handle the highest loads of any mounted bearing we offer. Install them with confidence into coal crushers, sludge presses, wood hogs, and other demanding applications. The top lifts off for quick access when you need to install or maintain the shaft. The sturdy housing bolts down to support shafts as they turn.
Lubricate regularly to keep your bearing in tip-top shape, including upon installation. Seals hold lubricant in while keeping dust and contaminants out.
Powder-Coated Cast Iron Housing—A rugged iron base coated in thick powder that protects against water, mild detergents, and oil. However, if the coating is scratched or chipped, the underlying iron may rust.
For Radial Loads—Accommodate minor changes in the length of your shaft as it expands and contracts from nearby machinery heat. They're typically positioned away from the drive end in assemblies with long shafts.
For Combined Radial and Thrust Loads—Secure shafts in place and absorb the thrust load. However, these bearings are not designed to handle shafts that expand or contract. They're typically positioned near the drive side of an assembly.
Clamp On—Tighten the clamping screw to close the collar around your shaft for a secure, mar-free grip. The collar centers the shaft, decreasing vibration and allowing for higher speeds than set screws. Also known as concentric lock bearings.
Misalignment Capability—Bearings compensate for as much shaft misalignment as the degree listed. This extends the life of the bearing and protects against wear if shafts are slightly askew.

    Hub-Mount Screw-Clamp Bushings

Transfer torque directly from a shaft to a hub. These bushings install over your hub to mount a sprocket, pulley, or gear to a shaft at the same time. Common in industrial gearbox applications, they can also connect a hollow shaft over a solid shaft. As screw-clamp bushings, they're good for shock loads. When you tighten the included clamping screws, the outer rings compress against a sprocket, pulley, or gear in between them, causing the inner rings to tighten around the shaft.

Mount these hubless bushings flush into your sprocket or pulley for a slim profile with no protruding screws. They are for use with taper-lock sprockets of the same bushing trade number. As you tighten the included set screws, the bushing grips the shaft and pulls it into your sprocket or pulley.

Cover base-mount or flange-mount bearings to protect personnel from injury and keep contaminants out. Place guards over the entire bearing housing and drill holes in their flange to install with screws. If necessary, drill the guards for access to bearing grease fittings or to create space for a shaft to pass through, and trim the flange to fit in tight spaces.
Black—Black ABS guards resist UV light, so they won’t color or crack when exposed to the sun.
