    Miniature Magnetic Drill Bases

Image of ProductInUse. Drill Not Included. Front orientation. Drill Bases.

    Drill Not Included

Combine the precision of a drill press with the portability of a drill guide. These drill bases stabilize the Milwaukee electric drill model 0299-20 for perfect 90° holes. Magnetize these to any iron or steel surface with the flip of a switch. You can even secure these bases to walls and ceilings, and the magnet won’t slip until you turn the power off.

Turn, knurl, thread, mill, and drill workpieces with these compact machines. They can switch between rotating a blade and rotating a workpiece, so you can complete every step of fabrication. Small enough to fit on a workbench, they’re often used in tool rooms and maintenance shops—they’re best for prototyping and one-off jobs. A cast iron frame makes these machines durable and stable. For smooth motion, they have precision bearings in the headstock and spindle. All are built and tested to DIN 8606 standards for accuracy and performance.
Twist knobs on the front to choose from six spindle speeds, and you can tailor the cuts to different materials and tasks. These machines have set speeds, so you can’t fine-tune them with as much precision as variable-speed machines.

Compact but powerful, these machines can mill, drill, tap, bore, and more. Since they fit on a workbench, they’re a good choice for job shops, maintenance departments, and other multipurpose spaces. The table is cast iron for strength and stability, and they have heavy duty tapered roller bearings. A digital readout displays real-time tool positioning along two axes for increased machining accuracy.

Compact enough for a workbench, these lathes are best for prototyping and one-off jobs in tool rooms or fabrication and maintenance shops. They do everything a full-size lathe can—turning, facing, threading, and knurling. Built from cast iron, they’re durable and stable. Plus, they have precision bearings in the headstock and spindle. They meet DIN 8606 for accuracy and performance.
Choose from six spindle speeds to tailor cuts to different materials and tasks. Because the speeds are set, you can’t fine-tune these lathes like you can with a variable-speed lathe.

    Air-Powered Tapping Arms

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Tapping Arms. Air-Powered Tapping Arms.
Thread through holes faster than electric tapping arms. These arms run at 700 rpm to speed up repetitive tapping tasks, such as threading small holes in steel. They’re also simple to operate—just connect them to your air supply and pull the trigger.
These arms are faster than a tap wrench and easier to reposition than a drill press. They’re often used alongside CNC machines to handle small tapping jobs, keeping the CNC machine free for other work. You’ll also need tap collets (sold separately).
For Tap Size is based on tapping holes in steel.

    Electric Tapping Arms

Image of ProductInUse. Front orientation. Tapping Arms. Electric Tapping Arms.
Thread blind and through holes across a range of sizes for more versatility than air-powered arms. Use the touchscreen on these arms to set the torque and speed you need for your hole. You can also set an exact depth, which is particularly useful for tapping blind holes. When the depth is reached, the motor stops and reverses the tap out of the hole, so you don’t bottom out and break a tap. Plug these arms into any outlet and get tapping. They’re also quieter than air-powered arms.
These arms are faster than a tap wrench and easier to reposition than a drill press. They’re often used alongside CNC machines to handle small tapping jobs, keeping the CNC machine free for other work.
These tapping arms include a full set of tap collets. When the torque gets too high, the collets spin freely instead of forcing the tap to turn and break. They also unlock quickly, so you can swap taps in seconds.
For Tap Size is based on tapping holes in steel.
Horizontal Tapping—Tilt the head 90° to tap holes on the side of your workpiece without unclamping and repositioning it.
