    Drilled Spanner Bits

    Use these bits to turn drilled-spanner screws. With two thin contact points, they can't deliver a lot of torque, so they may slip if you use too much force. Also known as pig-nose bits.
    Hex Shank—Also known as insert bits, these snap into hand tools. If you want to use them with power tools, attach a bit adapter (not included).
    Quick-Change Hex Shank—Lock these bits directly into power tools. They won't wobble as much as bits paired with an adapter, so they are the best choice for high-precision tasks.
