About Bearing Heaters
Heating bearings makes them easier to install and reduces damage to shafts during installation. Heat expands the bearing's inner race for a snug fit without forcing a tight-fitting bearing onto a shaft. Bearing heaters can also be used on gears, sprockets, pulleys, and bushings. Induction bearing heaters use magnetic induction to heat but do not magnetize parts.
Heat Wands

Shaped like a large flashlight, this wand loosens stuck nuts, heats bearings, and repairs dents. It uses magnetic induction to heat but does not magnetize parts.
