    Our most popular hex head screws. These have a head with six flat sides to keep wrenches and sockets from slipping and rounding off the drive.
    Length is measured from under the head.
    Medium-Strength Fastener—Your go-to screws for fastening most machinery and equipment. They have tensile strengths from 90,000 to 120,000 psi.
    High-Strength Fastener—Commonly used to fasten components in valves, pumps, motors, and other high-stress applications. These screws have a tensile strength of 125,000 to 160,000 psi.
    Zinc-Yellow-Chromate-Plated Steel—With slightly better corrosion resistance than zinc-plated steel screws, these stand up to more frequent exposure to moisture.
    Steel—Unfinished steel screws are best for dry environments, since moisture will cause them to rust. They require little surface prep before applying a finish, so you can apply your own paint or coating.

    With tensile strengths from 110,000 psi to 125,000 psi, these rods are strong enough for most industrial applications, such as anchoring machinery and connecting pipe flanges.     Ball Joint Rod End

    A carbon fiber-reinforced insert or PTFE liner reduces wear, handles shock loads, and eliminates the need for lubrication. Made of steel, these rod ends generally handle higher loads than stainless steel, aluminum, and nylon rod ends. All are zinc plated, so they resist corrosion for a short time before the finish is consumed and the steel is exposed.

    These steel rod ends handle loads that are at least 25% higher than other comparably sized rod ends. PTFE allows smooth rotation and eliminates the need for lubrication.
    Oversized Shank—Rod ends with an oversized shank have a shank that is one size larger than the ID to handle greater stress.
    Nylon/PTFE Insert—Rod ends with Nylon/PTFE insert have a durable, self-sealing insert that reduces wear.
