Made of alloy steel, these screws are the standard for high-strength fastening. Use them in high-load applications such as dies, presses, and heavy equipment. The deep, six-point socket keeps the hex key from slipping out and damaging the drive.
Length is measured from under the head.
Black-Oxide Alloy Steel—Best for dry environments since moisture will cause these screws to rust. They have a dark, matte appearance.

    Ultra-Low-Profile Steel Socket Head Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Socket Head Screws. Ultra-Low-Profile Steel Socket Head Screws.
Our lowest-profile socket head screws. At about one-third the height of standard ones, these fit in the tightest spaces and shallowest holes, reducing the risk of snagging. However, they aren't as strong as screws with larger heads. Tighten with a hex key.
Length is measured from under the head.

    Threaded Rods

Image of Product. Front orientation. Threaded Rods. Threaded Rods.
Anchor, connect, or hang components in a wide variety of applications, from mounting I-beams to suspending light fixtures.
    Low-Strength Steel
With a tensile strength of 50,000 psi or 60,000 psi, these rods are often used to suspend light fixtures, cable trays, and conduit from ceilings. They're about half the strength of medium-strength steel rods. To avoid stripped threads during installation, make sure your nuts are also low-strength steel.

    Steel Flanged Hex Head Screws

Image of Product. Front orientation. Hex Head Screws. Steel Flanged Hex Head Screws, Fully Threaded.

    Fully Threaded

Our most popular flanged hex head screws. These have a flange that spreads pressure over a wide area to protect thin and soft materials. The head's six flat sides keep wrenches and sockets from slipping and rounding off the drive.
Head height includes the flange. Length is measured from under the flange.
Medium-Strength Fastener—Your go-to screws for fastening most machinery and equipment. They have tensile strengths from 90,000 to 120,000 psi.
Zinc-Yellow-Chromate-Plated Steel—With slightly better corrosion resistance than zinc-plated steel screws, these stand up to more frequent exposure to moisture.

    Eyebolts—For Lifting

Create a secure attachment point for hooks, shackles, and other lifting equipment. Also known as machinery eyebolts, these eyebolts are used to lift heavy machines and materials. They have a closed eye that won’t bend under strain.
Warning: Never use to lift people or items over people. Capacities listed are for vertical lifting only.

Multiple thread channels (also known as thread starts) create faster linear travel than lead screws with a single thread start. Operating with less backlash (play) than Metric Precision Acme Lead Screws and Nuts, these lead screws and nuts provide increased nut life and more reliable movement in automated systems. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size and number of thread starts.

Image of Product. Style B. Front orientation. Contains Annotated. Precision Lead Screws and Nuts. Metric Ultra-Precision Lead Screws and Nuts, Externally Threaded Nuts—Right-Hand Thread, Style B.

    Style B

Operating with less backlash (play) than Metric Precision Acme Lead Screws and Nuts, these provide increased nut life and more reliable movement in automated systems. Also known as single-start and self-locking lead screws and nuts, they have a single thread that runs the length of the screw. The nut travels only when the screw turns, so your system won't unexpectedly move when the lead screw is at rest. To ensure compatibility, select components that have the same thread size, thread type, thread size, thread pitch, and number of thread starts.
