Plate connector concealed brackets have a screw on one side and a T-slot nut on the other. Tap a hole in the end of one rail and thread in the screw. Then slide the T-slot nut into the slot of the other rail.

Miter anchors connect rails with 30°-90° miters. Drill an access hole in each rail and slide the connector into the center hole, then thread the set screws into the t-nuts, through the access holes, and into the connector.
