Switch with Enclosed Housing
Turn heating equipment on or off at a specified temperature. Switches have a probe on a cable for remote temperature readings. Set the actuation point with the adjustment dial.
Switches that control one circuit are SPDT (single pole, double throw). They can be set to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).
Switches that control two circuits are DPST (double pole, single throw). They turn two circuits from on to off (normally closed).
Switches with an open housing are often added to existing enclosures or custom installations.
Switches with a pilot light indicate when the switch is on.
Use packing seals and fittings (sold separately) to seal the probe into threaded tanks and pipes.

To protect these switches from splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust, the housing meets NEMA 4X for washdown conditions. Switches turn heating equipment on or off at a specified temperature. All have a probe on a cable for remote temperature readings. Set actuation points with the adjustment dial.
SPDT (Single pole, double throw) switches can be set to turn circuits from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). Switches with one actuation point have one SPDT (single pole, double throw) relay. The relay can be set to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed). The probe has 1/2 NPT male threads for installation directly into tanks, pipelines, and other process components. It comes with a bushing that adapts the thread size to 3/4 NPT male. Switches with two actuation points have two SPDT (single pole, double throw) relays. Each relay can be set to turn one circuit from off to on (normally open) or from on to off (normally closed).

Hazardous Location Wall-Mount Temperature Switches
Turn heating equipment on or off in environments with flammable gases, combustible dust, and ignitable fibers, such as chemical plants, refineries, and grain elevators. The switch housing is UL listed for use in Class I, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups B, C, and D; Class II, Divisions 1 and 2, Groups E, F, and G; and Class III, Divisions 1 and 2 hazardous locations. It also meets NEMA 4X for use in washdown environments with splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust. Switches have a probe on a cable for remote temperature readings. Precision Washdown Wall-Mount Temperature Controllers
For protection in washdown conditions with splashing water, corrosive liquid, and dust, these controllers have a housing that meets NEMA 4X. They include a highly sensitive Type J thermocouple to take temperature readings in critical process applications and have a single primary output to turn heating or cooling equipment on or off at a specified temperature. Use the keypad to set the actuation point. Controllers are 3PST (triple pole, single throw). All have a control relay that turns three circuits from off to on (normally open). They also have two alarm relays.
