Lockout Organizing Stations

Style G

Keep padlocks, tags, and other lockout tools neatly stored and ready for use in these easy-to-spot stations. Set them up in a central location in your facility or place them near equipment that needs frequent maintenance. The bright colors and clear labeling remind your team to use lockout procedures when working. These stations help you comply with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.147, which requires you to lock out power sources during maintenance to prevent unexpected machine startups.

All stations resist some impact, but metal stations are stronger than plastic stations.

Powder-Coated Steel—Powder-coated steel stations resist corrosion in damp areas.

Style G—Move the adjustable shelves on style G to make room for large or odd-shaped devices, such as circuit-breaker and valve lockouts. Unlike the other cabinets, which are wall-mount only, style G also has a handle so you can carry them wherever they’re needed.

Mount these workstations on a flat vertical surface to create a steady horizontal surface for writing, typing, or tinkering. They work as a case when closed, with a 2 _3/4"-deep interior for carrying a laptop, small tools, and other supplies. When you need a workstation, mount them to a metal surface such as an electrical cabinet with the included magnets, or a nonmetal surface such as a wall with the included suction cups. The magnets and suction cups screw into either exterior side of workstations; leave magnets on one side and suction cups on the other to be ready for quick use. On the interior, workstations have a movable rubber work surface, magnetic strips across the top for holding tools, and wire rope cables to keep workstations open at a 90° angle.

Static-Eliminating Abrasive Blasting Cabinets

Remove coatings from circuit boards and other electronics while protecting them from static discharge. These blasting cabinets have a built-in ionizer that neutralizes static charges in the air caused by ricocheting abrasives so they can’t build up. On top of that, the cabinet and work surface are grounded to drain any remaining static away from parts.

The media spray is thinner and more delicate than the one in a standard cabinet, so you don’t need heavy abrasive blasting gloves. Use any shop gloves (not included). When you place your hands through the holes in these cabinets, cuffs seal around your wrists to keep media dust from escaping. You’ll also need a dust collector or shop vacuum to maintain visibility.

Do not use with steel shot, steel grit, and stainless steel shot.
