Thick insulation protects the internal wires of these cords, so they can be used in high-traffic areas and over rough areas. The insulation also resists water. Give the connectors a quarter turn to lock in place; they remain secure in high-vibration applications.

SOW cords have oil-resistant insulation.

Washdown Straight-Blade Connectors and Cords

All connectors have a multiple-ring seal and rubber housing to keep out liquid. They resist heat, oil, and chemicals. When mated, connectors meet NEMA 6P, NEMA 12, and either IP67 or IP69K.

Connectors that meet IP67 resist temporary submersion.

Plugs mate with female receptacles and female sockets with an attached cover.

Cord splitters power multiple devices from a single outlet.
